to the “Official site of the Newfoundland and Labrador Darts
Association”
 The
Newfoundland and Labrador (NL) Darts Association had its beginning
in 1977. Since then, the association continues to thrive among
experienced and new participants. Many Newfoundland and Labrador
dart players have had much success both nationally and
internationally. Achievements have been many in the past 32 plus
years and though we are incredibly proud of our very best, we
welcome all dart players to enjoy our web site no matter what
your level of expertise. After all, darts is fun for everybody from
the novice youth to the experienced professional; this is the place
for darts in Newfoundland and Labrador.
We
hope everyone had a great summer and is now back and rearing to play
darts. This looks to be a very exciting year for darts in NL. The
Canadian Nationals, Youth and Adult, will be played in
Gander ,
this year (2010). It promises to be a great and exciting time!
The 2013 World
Cup of Darts will be held right here in
Newfoundland and Labrador.The World Cup was last held in Canada in 1989 (Toronto, ON), when
Canada came first place in the team event. The four-man team that
year was made up of Bob Sinnaeve, Rick Bisaro, Tony Holyoake and
NL’s own Albert Anstey.
The tentative dates are October 2nd - October
5th 2013. The Delta Hotel in
St.
John’s, NL
will be the venue for the tournament.
